The Iron Horse Trail is a wonderful walking and biking trail. Help us clean up graffiti and pick up trash from Civic Park to Newell Avenue. The project will be working with Sustainable Walnut Creek.
Location details: Meet in Civic Park at the circular asphalt area across the iron bridge. Additional parking instructions may be provided in early October.
Ages: 8 and older. An adult must accompany children under 11.
Physical requirements: Must be able to walk 1-2 miles while carrying supplies and tools.
Other requirements: Please wear work clothes you can get dirty, closed-toe shoes for safety, hat, sunscreen.
Please bring: Trash clean-up tools (trash grabber, bucket), work gloves, and personal drinking water.
